kingduckhunter
anybody got any tips or tricks to successful trapping coyotes in the rain? rain will wash the dirt cover off of my coil spring traps and i was wondering what was the best alternative for covering your traps in a rainy situation. thanks, -jj
sureshot
I* have always trapped in the snow, I always useed a clean ziplock bag or bag like that to put the trap in, keep the snow from freezing and I believe helped with scent, I wonder if you use a bag,put the trap in and then use vegetation, build a cubby set, small hole and use branches to make sure they have to step on the trap, over top of the trap put vegetaion a thin layer that hopefully will not wash away! not sure but I would try it! good luck!!
