buckee
I was shed hunting along a highway today and found a lot of road-kills, but no sheds. This one was pretty close to the road. You'd think someone would have at least thrown it in the ditch. This poor young doe got hit, and ended up laying down right beside another road kill. Sad to see. It was so fresh, it looked like a sleeping deer at first. About 30 ft from those 2 was another doe kill. I found a couple more too:rolleyes:
Tom2008
That is very tragic and sad to see. I hope that doe didn't suffer too much.
redkneck
Well, at least we keep the insurance companies on the side of hunters, they pay out millions for that kind of stuff.
camoman1
Found another one along the road where i hunt this weekend. Was buried by the snow plow and the piles are melting finally. Makes me wonder how many more im gonna see in the ditch. That one makes number 6 killed by cars this winter, just on the mile of road that i hunt along.
