Rhino
Sorry...the weather conditions sure saved a lot of birds down here. At least temporarily anyway. We'll try to accomodate you by the 1st of next week.
rhine16
Sorry...the weather conditions sure saved a lot of birds down here. At least temporarily anyway. No doubt. It's getting better though... If the fog would stop lingering all morning. Give it some time.... maybe I'll have a thread with one before the weekend Probably won't be me in the pic, but one of the 5 or 6 people I have been and will be calling for (I'm about ready to hunt solo )

Season opened here Sunday and the fog stayed on us until 10:45am. Turkeys don't seem to be very vocal in the fog. Afternoon was better but at 4:30pm it started pouring. Yes we saw birds and worked them but no shooters.

Darron
Thats a ton of hens! Cant tell if the second set of pics are gobblers or not.... The second set with the pic of the lone turkey is of a gobbler. Also in the second set, the one next to the camera that is black I would assume is a jake or gobbler as well. The first set is mostly hens, but there is a jake or two in there. In the fall, we target nothing but hens on our property and we still have more than we need. Now I know why I have a hard time calling in those gobbler.
