I don't know about everyone else, but I'm impressed at how quickly we've been able to draft. Almost in the 11th round in less than a week without a scheduled meeting. That's not bad.

Actually, considering after a few more rounds, most guys with keepers are going to be done, this isn't bad. Shouldn't be more than two more days.

Taking 4 consecutive closers that early is definitely a new strategy. I'll give you that.:D

Well one thing it does is keep everyone else from taking closers....:D

Looks as if I'm going to save the closers for a later round. I don't even know who I want to take as a closer but I have two position players I want so I'll go after them.

Goot point, next year I'm using my first 9 picks on first baseman so you can't get one.:p:D

Then you can keep 2, one for dh and one for 1b, and trade the others! :D:rolleyes: Real smart muggsy!!

BTW- I have pretty much not gotten a first baseman yet. Why I drafted Hafner is beyond me...

There is actually some (not a lot) but some thought behind that process. We will find out if it works or not.

We shall see. Like I said, it's new, I'll give you that. It could work, you're going to be tough to beat in saves, that's for sure.

It very well could work... Saves will be a no doubter for you. But if you sacrifice more closers than starting pitching you lose K's and W's. A closer may go 3 innings in a good week. 5 max the way I see it. Your ERA has the possibility to shape up a little better though.

When a closer blows a save it inflates your ERA though.

Nah, it's like a wise man once said, "wear what you dig."

Or maybe it was, "wear what you dig!"

Use it, just don't abuse it. I mean, abuse it!:p:D
