Alright GW what's the skinny on this here cam.....lol I'm lookin pretty hard;) How long do the batteries last before you have to swap them? What do I have to get for my computer to view and edit the memory cards? Does it have date, time and moon phase stamping on the pics? And does it have the holes for the solar panel wiring in the case? Let me know.....KS:D

How long do the batteries last before you have to swap them?

With the batteries I have for it I've never had a dead battery when I went to check the camera. I went to check the camera about once a month, and switched out batteries then just because I felt like it, and the camera would have at least 200 pictures on the card sometimes much more. The quality setting of the photo makes a huge difference in how many you can fit on each card;)

What do I have to get for my computer to view and edit the memory cards?

I would just switch out the cards at the camera. Then when I got home I'd put the card in my digital camera then upload them to my computer. No special photo program used just the basic program that Windows XP uses.

Does it have date, time and moon phase stamping on the pics?

In a couple of the pics above you'll see that it has the Date/Time/Camera Number...the other pictures were cropped by me thats why they dont have the red numbers and lettering in them.

...does it have the holes for the solar panel wiring in the case?

No..it does not.

I do know people who have adapted thier cameras for solar recharging and ran the wires out of the bottom of the case but I have done no such adaptations to this camera.

Let me know.....KS:D

How did I do?:D

P.S. I had Zero "Whiteouts" with this camera. The only problem I found was when I made the mistake and set it up in an area that had alot of moving branches...in that case half of the pictures I got were blank(with nothing in them but scenery).

Tom, Thanks for the Bump and Good Morning to you as well;)

Here's a few more pic's the camera has taken. If you notice all 3 were taken within a short time frame:cool: These pic's are in sequence as they were originally taken. I have cropped the pic's to make the date/time stamp easier to see.
