PotashRLS
Without boring you with the extremely long details, I need some blood pressure lowering, happy thought thinking, and knots in people's heads pounding encouragement. My plate is overflowing with responsibilities and now am facing handing down disciplinary actions which will be met with much opposition. I wish the kids turkey hunt was here so I could hit the woods and see some happy faces for once. Hopefully they don't miss:rolleyes:
Illinois59
Keep your chin up and smile. Your friends and family will always get you through. Good luck on the turkey hunt.

Adjam5
Nothing lasts forever Tracy. I am sure you have been through worse situations and you will endure this one also. Hang tough, keep yer chin up. For a happy thought...think of the sound of turkey wings flapping, flying up to roost. Then that night before you go to sleep, laying out all your gear, chalking your calls, standing up the shells you'll be using or spinning your arrows before you put them back into your quiver with a big smile on your face. Saying your night time prayers, going to sleep with the full knowledge of that you will know where you will be setting up come morning, anticipating those gobbles off the roost when you hit that Owl hoot:). OR... The BIG smile on one of those kids faces when you have put them on a Tom and they have heard that 1st gobble and everything is going right for that successful hunt. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

stevebeilgard
just take a look around you, tracy. there is all sorts of beauty. enjoy all that you have, and all that you are. then, take a moment to thank god for it all. when you go to work, just do what you have to do. don't dwell on it. and when you leave work in the afternoon, leave work. go home and look around again with the same eyes you started the day with. you have a pretty good life, so enjoy it and quit dwelling on the negative. you'll be just fine.... HCO Team
This too shall pass.... Some things are out of our control, so we need to sit back, hang on tight and go for the ride. Usually, it all works out in the end and we are dazed as to why we were so worried and stressed in hindsight. Take a few deep breathes and try not to let stress and worry consume your thoughts and health. When I am going through these difficult times, I compare them to being thankful my children are happy and healthy, I have a roof over my head, good friends and my Faith, not to mention, some really awesome Staff members!! Sounds like you need some "woods" time, nothing more soothing.. (Thanks, I needed this too, I best heed my own words) The best to you and yours! PotashRLS
just take a look around you, tracy. there is all sorts of beauty. enjoy all that you have, and all that you are. then, take a moment to thank god for it all. when you go to work, just do what you have to do. don't dwell on it. and when you leave work in the afternoon, leave work. go home and look around again with the same eyes you started the day with. you have a pretty good life, so enjoy it and quit dwelling on the negative. you'll be just fine.... Fortunately my "real" job is pretty cool and is not the problem. Its the ambulance service and the wall we walked into when Rosalie (our 20 year treasurer/director) died. Boy do we miss her. But now the stuff that was swept under the rug no longer flies and yours truely is el presidente. Lucky me:(. I open myself up to law suits and wrongful this and that all because 14 years ago as a young adult I started my volunteer career as an EMT. I was president in 1999 and 2000 but things are much different now. We run a budget nearly as big as my full time job with 450 squad calls a year. We are borderline needing to go to paid daytime coverage. Saving someone's life is easy, dealing with the idiots that save them is the hard part:o Hunter safety is going well though and prep has started for the Turkey Learn To Hunt Program. I have had to run out of class a couple times for squad calls though. Our Northeast Wisconsin Deer Management Alliance annual fund raising banquet was Saturday and is finally done. I am president of that club too:o. But now we will have funds to provide the National Archery in the Schools Program to another neighboring school district. Thanks for the support and letting me vent a bit. I am truely blessed with the desire to make God's creation a better place and I intend to continue trying. I am not a quitter though it seems many folks are trying to push my buttons to steer me down that road. Thanks again for the friendly ears. bluelund79
Things always work out in the end....Deal with everything up front and even, and things will go where they need to. The kids hunt is coming soon, so if you need some time, go do some scouting, that always helps me clear my head!!! Good luck, Sir-keep your head up!!!
