boparks
Careful with strutting birds What is the going rate for a full turkey mount:confused: Strutting, flying, and standing.Around here it is $480 to $500:rolleyes: is that to much:confused: For a flying bird that sounds about right. Be careful who you choose to mount a strutting bird. Many can do flying birds but fewer can do a truely good job on a strutting bird. Go to Hazel Creek Taxidermy / Calley Morris in Missouri and you 'll get an idea of what they can look like. He's done alot in the past for NTWF. Do your reserach and don't just trust or settle. Speaking from experience. Bobby
The Kid
mine cost around 500 which i didn't think was that bad,, if your thinking of doing a strutting bird, or something other than flying i would suggest trying to get a case for it,, i can't tell you how many birds i've seen ruined by dust and dirt,, i mean if your going to spend 500 bucks on a mount you probably want it to last forever?? i know cases can be expensive too but i got my local amish to do it for 100 bucks heres what mine looks like http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83821
