Chenango Dave
Seen a group of Great Blue's last night migrating back north. I've never seen them fly in a gruop like this- maybe it's common, I've just never seen it. Not that great a pic but they were up there quite a ways. And a few Jakes from last night as well. And another Redtail looking for dinner before bedtime. Take care Dave

We have a rookery very close to where I live. If you're near a rook, you will see them in formation.
Deb
Great pics, as usual. I saw a flock of Great Blues flying over once in Dec as I was shoveling 18" of snow we just got 3 days before Christmas. Guess they thought it was time to got south:rolleyes:. They were about as noisey as the Canadian geese are.
Shaun_300
I've never even seen two blue herons together! They're all over the place up here in the summer, beautiful birds. Awesome shots there Dave!
