Reservoir Walk

I went for a walk this morning up at the reservoir near where I hunt.

I didn't find as much deer sign as I thought I would or any sheds.

But I did manage to escape with some pictures of the treasures you can find there.

Not the best day for taking pictures, but a good day none the less.

Well, I stand corrected. :o My knowledge of ducks is a bit limited. I knew the common mergansers and after the correction I see quite the difference in the hooded merganser and the bufflehead. Was thinking birds of a feather flock together.

These geese look too much alike to be run of the mills you think? Jack might know...

Another view of the goose in ? They are Buffleheads

As always, great pictures, Mike.

I was all ready to jump all over the hooded merganser = bufflehead thing, but I saw buckee had beat me by about 5 country miles. As for the geese, as has been stated, the one does look like a snow to me but the other seems a little strange.

Guess you better get the $4000 rig.:D

And those ducks walking in the stubble aren't redheads.:D:D:D

Awesome Pic's man. The Chippy in the rocks took me a little bit to see. I guess I need to go get my eyes checked but he didnt pop out at me hardly at all. Awesome pics though.

I didn't see the chippy in the rocks right away, either! :D

Natures camouflage. ;)

Thanks for the compliments everyone. :)
