Turkeygirl
It's a bird...no it's a plane...no...it's swans! Took these photos the other evening of several flocks of swans flying over our house! We actually live in a migratory path I think and we have a lake near by...we'll get Canadian geese, Snow geese, ducks, and swans flying over us, usually see the swans and snow geese in the spring though...It's fun to live in the country:cool:
Turkeygirl
Oh yeah, they are Trumpeter Swans...and we could hear them as they flew over. Must have been a few hundred...
Guest outdoorgirl
That is so cool Ruth...I have never seen a swan fly before. We get grey cranes that fly over the house here.
buckee
There are a few hundred Trumpeter swans that stay here all winter. They haven't left yet, but when they do, I'll know spring is here. nice pics:cool:

Deb
Pretty cool. I've seen Canadian goose and Blue Herons fly over in formation, but never Swans. Nice pics. Herons have such a gravely squock (sp).
Shaun_300
That's cool Ruth! I've been seeing millions of Canada geese migrating their way back up here for the summer lately. Sure sign that spring is here.
