GWSmith
He's Home and I had to let him outside for one last look around:D ...and a Facial Close-Up of the side that received some major repair work! This was the side of a second shot exit wound:o...There was basically shreds of hide and bone hanging! The right side of this deer face WAS demolished. I still cant believe the Taxi did such a great repair!!! GWSmith
I just noticed how his nose looks more gray in the pic's. It's just as black as you can imagine in person. It's got to be the way the sun shines off of it.

GWSmith
I really had no idea how well the repair would go...I'm amazed at the guys skill. It's the first time I've used this Taxidermist and it looks like I'll have to again in the future;) You can see the bullet hole on the left side of his face half of the way between his eye and nose:o...I actually wanted that left in there. fly
I just noticed how his nose looks more gray in the pic's. It's just as black as you can imagine in person. It's got to be the way the sun shines off of it. Hey Gary, too bad about that completely grey nose (must have been snorting lines of salt). If it wasn't for that grey nose I'd say he's the best 4X4 I've ever seen. I love the heigth on the antlers, it's just ashame that that grey nose makes them look smaller than they really are. You taxi did a great job for sure (except on the grey nose of course). Ok, seriously I meant everything I said except my comments about the grey nose. Congratulations Gary! You did good!
