bluelund79
Nice bird, how do they taste in comparison to a Canada or a duck???? Don't get any of the white geese in my neck of the woods.
pointing_dogs_rule
Congrats on a nice bird!!!!!!!!! Nice bird, how do they taste in comparison to a Canada or a duck???? Don't get any of the white geese in my neck of the woods. They taste very good. NOTE: they taste better when they are flying from the south after a winter of eating wheat (grains)... spring season as opposed when they have eaten grass in the arctic and flying south in the fall. My Ross geese mounts: good luck to all the dog
bowhunten4life
Yes I am getting it mounted talked to the taxi today while I was seeing about my mallard getting finished. Also, I have no clue how they taste, it was the very first ross goose I ever killed, and only the second one that I have ever seen. Not very common in Indiana
Leo
Most of the time when someone gets one in Arkansas where I duck hunt. The rosses are mixed in with the snows. I think they are more common there but mixing with the snows offers them a great deal of protection.
