mossyhorn
So at 2:00 this morning I was woke up by thumps that I thought were coming from outside. My first thought was someone breaking in. My wife was still awake on her laptop beside me and she was freaking out. I told her to be quiet and just listen to see if anyone was talking. My inside dog was going crazy barking at whatever it was, but no barking from outside the house. Then we heard it again. This time now that I was awake I noticed it came from the center of the bedroom. Maybe raccoon under the house. I hope so atleast. When it comes to ghost and things that go bump in the night I am kind of a skeptic. A man did die hear a year before we bought it, but we later found out he was shot in the chest with a black powder gun. (Not my first chioce either) After that they cut his head off with an axe. That explains what I thought was motor oil on the carpet when I went to get the double wide ready to move. Needless to say all floors have been replaced. But whats your take on the supernatural? Could it be the rise of James Mollette or am I just standing to close to the pump when I get gas?
layin on the smackdown
Im not much of a supernaturalist to say the least, but my first guess would be to take another two steps away from the pump when you are gettin gas...My second guess would be to check underneath your house; its spring time and alot of the critters are getting to be more active...Lastly i would move your bedroom to another part of the house that someone wasn't shot and beheaded in... good luck with it...Oh ya, if your dog was going nuts, thats a good sign he knew something was going on...probably under the house. hoythunter37
Man there is no tellin. I kinda believe in that stuff, but then again I dont. I cant remember the show that is on A&E but some of that stuff is pretty unexplainable. Who knows maybe it is.......

Ohiobucks
I'm a believer in the supernatural / paranormal. I also believe that coons can get under the house as well.

Adjam5
Set a few traps around the outside of the house, and if you catch anything it will answer your question if it is critters. I do not believe in ghosts, the Holy Spirit, yup, but not ghosts. The story of the previous death only adds to the imagination of the mind. mossyhorn
I have to tell my wife to calm down all the time. She is well a sissy and every bump gets to her. I did find out what is was...well I think. A pipe came undone. I am guessing the sound was it falling. I would have to see James first then after that the house burns

redkneck
Sounds like it's haunted. A good stiff drink or some sleeping pills normally takes care of 2 am ghosts. :D:D
Tink
TIP I guess you all know better than to venture outside at night when you hear stuff right If someone is outside he can nail you when you come thru the door In Africa the police taught us to make him come in then can shoot him first thru the doors. A police Col. in South Africa was killed when thugs killed his German Shepard dog Cop was killed with a machete when he came out the door with a gun in his hand.then they killed his wife too. Hoosierbuck
Yep, your place is definitely haunted. That doesn't mean that you don't also have coons under the floor, but most coons are smarter than to live under a haunted house. Just teasing. Creepy story, though. WHISKEYSWAMP
my girlfriend hears noises every night she stays at my house... just to make her sleep better, I get up and look. last night I knocked on the wall and scared the crap out of her..lol she's one of those that likes to sleep with a fan running to drown out noises... I prefer to sleep in piece and quiet so I can hear if there's something going on.
