Muff Posted March 23, 2009 Report Share Posted March 23, 2009 This is a great small town story......as most of you know I live on a island that has a pop of about 1100 year round but goes up to about 3000 in the summer months......and like alot of you know we are getting a big windmill farm on the island....that is just about done.....well we have tried many times to get money to build a rink.....as of tomorrow we will have one......with so many people donating their time and money....one being Don Cherry giving 100,000 another being the cement plant giving all the cement for free!!!!!!! plus way to many more to mention......anyway we pour the cement tomorrow....after the kids are on the bus I will be there to help.......just a little feel good story to help you all start your week off......as many bad things that are going on in our world today....there are still places like this that dreams can come true.....as Don would say.....heres a big thumbs up to the people of Wolfe Island....good work!
