bfletch7441
I got her this one: http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=82465&langId=-1&isFirearm=Y It's a pretty sweet shooting little dude! She especially liked the pink grips, and actually called it "cute". She's going to get her CC license in the next month or so, so she'll have plenty of time to get used to how it feels and shoots. elnor
Congrats to her! My wife's also considering get her OK cc...she's been looking for a class that wasn't booked solid in May, any ideas? I bet she'd like that gun a lot if she chooses to go the 38Spec route. Did you buy locally?

Did you buy locally? JaLynn will go to Happy Hollow Gun Range here in Sapulpa. We haven't looked into scheduling her class yet, we want to get some range time in before she gets her license, but when I called them last week, he said they had room in their classes. I bought the pistol at Sports World in Tulsa. $425 before tax. Ben
csualumni21000
That gun will be extremely painful to shoot with full power or +p+ loads. Start slow. My wife loves to shot. I started her with ear plugs and muffs for ear pro. Eye pro and a gun that did not beat her up to shoot. If she is going to carry get her to take a class that focuses on fighting with the gun. CC class is not adequate. What holster did you get her?
elnor
Thanks, I'll tell her to check out Happy Hollow as a CC class option.
Arkansas Boy
if the class is like arkansas' you might get her a small automatic pistol to take the class with. Here, if you qualify with a revolver, that is all you can carry, if you qualify with an auto, you can carry anything. Just something to keep in mind. Cool gun by the way. My girl would love it! She wants to get her CCL soon
