Arkansas Boy
Dad just bought me one of these! A Savage 111 chambered in 7mm Mag! I'm pumped! my uncle's friend CJ was selling it and gave us a pretty good deal so Dad jumped on it. He called to see if i wanted it and i said i did but we didn't need it and i didn't have the money. he called back a day later and told me he got it. Very pleasant surprise to say the least! Arkansas Boy
That's great man! Hope it shoots good for you. well i shot it on saturday for the first time trying to sight it in. It kicks pretty good! I shot 6 rounds before I got it dialed in where I wanted it (previous owner had it pretty close) and have a big bruise and a sore right arm. Then I got out the Mauser 7mm (7 x 57) and it hardly kicks at all. Lot more fun to shoot that one.

jesse8953
Try putting a silp on limbsaver butt pad. That is what I got on my 7mm mag. and it works:D You can also have your barrel ported but try the pad first. Walmart sells them the cheapest:)
