Doc
I was wondering what the opportunities might be for a do-it-yourself bow hunt in Ohio. Is there enough un-pressured public land there to consider hunting state land, or do you have to go with outfitters or attempt to find farmers willing to let bowhunters hunt their property. Has anyone ever tried such a free-lance bowhunt on Ohio public land with any actual success? Doc
muggs
most public land gets tons of pressure here, tons of those x-gun hacks out there too.

Apparently, he knows what he's doing.

LMAO--yeah, in my own back yard, picked the tree, set up the stand, did everything but shoot him. Ohio gets a lot of pressure on the public ground (and yes, a lot of crossbow hunters). Most private lands are locked up too. Good luck.

GobblerBuster618
ohio is getting harder and harder to obtain permission for places to hunt. You can try wayne national forest in southern ohio. Lots of deer down there!
