GobblerBuster618
How many of you wear leafy camo when turkey hunting and what kind is everyone wearing. After at least 7 years its time for me to buy some new leafy.
elnor
I wear Whitewater vest, pants, and hat in Realtree camo. Used to wear their gloves too but I kept having the leaves on the gloves snag things, so I switched to some skin-tight Primos gloves instead. doubleA
I have a Cabela's set of very light "leafy" wear. I originally purchased it for varmint hunting but it worked so well I use it for turkey when I am running and gunning. I live where it is pretty warm year around so I wear shorts and a tee, so I just slip it on over that when needed.
dbHunterNY
I don't wear any and I probably won't unless I get to a point where I need to buy new camo. I live a little north so my lighter camo is usually plain camo long sleeve t-shirts and stuff, but in a good camo that fits the situation. - Dan
boparks
Standard gear. Even one of my vest has leafy wear. Don't know the brand but I have 3 sets of tops and bottoms. Works great for several reasons. Mine has a netting combined with leafy flauge. You can wear it over just about any clothing, helps with bug issues as a second layer, doesn't have to be washed every time you wear it, can be used as part of a make shift blind (I carry an extra jacket part that I sometimes tie or use to conceal a spot of me), and oh yea, its good comflauge. I like the ones with the hood and 2 piece versus any jump suit type
boparks
PS I do know mine is Realtree camo. One is more of the older Advantage and one has the gray hardwoods look but can't remeber the official name. Also, this stuff doesn't work in Ohio, maqy be illegal. Rem308
I was due for some new camo a couple years ago, and I ended up getting a lightweight pair of coveralls in the 3d Leafy camo. The camo isn't Reatree, it's actually MO. I first wasn't crazy about the 3d stuff, just seemed like it was a bit overkill, but I absolutely love it now. I turkey hunt and bow hunt in this stuff, and it's really great for camo. I got mine from Cabelas.

HOYTnMUZZYboy
I like the leafy camo, but everyone likes different stuff. As long as you can put a bird on the ground it really dont matter :D
TuffnufOutdoors
Because I knew I was going to be hunting some warmer areas this year I went out to Bass Pro and they had some Mossy Oak leafy wear with a bigger square mesh behind it so I got it. My plan was to wear some light shorts and top under it to keep cool. I just used it in 80 degree weather down in Florida and it worked like a champ. I now have a new favorite turkey hunting outfit.
