Flintlock1776
My cell phone was getting these calls daily. Hopefully, they have given up. I hope the authorities catch them: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23147777/

Flintlock1776
Thanks for the heads up. Hope they quit calling you. I think they have. First sign they had picked me was official looking notice in the mail, then the calls. Idiots would use the same script "this is your 2nd and last warning you car warranty os about to expire......" OJR
I get those things in the mail all the time! They go right into the shredder without being opened!

Next time I think I may answer the phone but respond to their inquires in Latin creo malum populus laboro That should drive them crazy
Mach1
I was getting lots of these things in the mail and immediately sent them to the trash can. Also got phone calls, but never answered because it came up AUTO WARRANTY on the caller ID.
bluelund79
Those keep coming to my gov't phone no matter how many times you get the number removed, and when you try to ask them politely you get hung up on...Very frustrating-can't wait for it to end... wtnhunt
We got a call last week one day about extending our warranty that was about to expire. I hung up the phone like I always do when automated dialers call. The number may have shown up on our caller id on our satellite receiver and might still have it. Flintlock1776
Since most of these are scammers likely they won't follow the rules but to get off some legit telemarketers go here: https://www.donotcall.gov
Turkeygirl
Oh my gosh...we had them bugging us almost daily for ages...mom even got through and told them quit calling and they'd still call! Haven't heard from them in awhile now....
Shaun_300
They hit this area hard a few months back. They called me and told me my truck was almost out of warranty, I said it's been out of warranty since I've owned it and is nearing 250,000km on it. Then I told them I was a GM technician at a dealership and I wasn't falling for their stupid scam.
stevebeilgard
fact is, you do not want to buy ANYTHING when a telemarketer calls. generally, all they really want is a credit card number.

Flintlock1776
If you have the time give them a lot of time, talk and give them bogus info IMHO See how fast they take your number off their call list:eek:
JimT
We just got a call from these people again. Actually pressed one and talked to a guy. It did not go well for him and he hung up. Loser. He would not name the company he worked for. Geeee..I wonder why!
