Muff Posted March 29, 2009 Report Share Posted March 29, 2009 It was such a nice day here yesterday we spent it all outside....Lisa was away on a shopping trip so it was just me and the girls....we did everthing, cleaned up the yard and had a big fire....big long 4 wheeler ride....went to the driving range and played soccer....SO NICE to get outside again. but now today its raining:( Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Turkeygirl Posted March 29, 2009 Report Share Posted March 29, 2009 Little rainy here as well...waiting for a break to hit the woods to grab some leeks for dinner...I spent yesterday steelhead fishing...caught one early then nothing the rest of the day...just watched 5-6 idiots intentionally snagging the steelhead....JERKS...and of course when the ECO showed up, sneaking around, they weren't doing it....then he left, they started and they were even showing a young boy how to snag...... Went for a little 4 wheeler ride in the morning too, then my two cousins and I went out and did some shooting. Chris got a new turkey gun, a Remington 870 in Realtree APG, and he wanted to try shooting his 3 1/2" turkey loads to see how they patterned. First time he's ever shot 3 1/2", He got down in the prone position and BOOOOOM!!! Knocked him right over backwards, Blair and I were laughing so hard. :D:D Then I had to try it out, that thing kicks like a mule. I shot my .300 WSM right after and it was like shooting a .22 compared to that thing. Then we shot my .25-06 for a bit, Blair is in love with that gun now. Came home this afternoon and got some .25-06 brass deprimed, resized, trimmed and primed ready to load once we get back from the shooting store in Ottawa.
