When I was younger and single I lisnened to a little rap because that is what most of the girls liked. Now that I am grown up and more mature with a family I have a new saying. it goes, Rap is Crap. I know some people say the same thing about my hard rock music, thats the great thing about haveing such a wide variety of music, theres something for everyone.

There are some old school rappers that I actually enjoy listening to. Mostly it's classic rock, which sadly are a lot of songs I grew up on, and now they are on classic rock. When the heck did GnR, Motley Crew, and Nirvana become classic rock.

Man I am old.

I'm right there with ya....Music with Lyrics you could understand...Loud...but you could understand them:D

...and they may have been about "Fighting against The Man"...That was considered "Rebel" and cool.

It was'nt about how many ways you could take him out:rolleyes:

I listen to a little bit of everything. I can tell most of you think rap is nothing but a bunch of gangsters and thugs, but not all of it is like that.;) I prefer more of the hip-hop/rap style than the "gangster" rap stuff that some of you associate all rap with (yes, some of those songs do have meaning also ;)).

If it's not for you it's not for you, and thats understandable. Not everyone loves country, rock, or jazz either.
