jesse8953
Does anyone know how to cape a turkey? http://www.nwtf.org/tips_adventures/tips.php?id=10192 These directions does not include the wings. How do you cut and preserve the wings. I like the capes that have the wings, back feathers, and tail. I have never handled a wild turkey. Is this a job I can do? $$ is a little tight due to me being laid off. On the bright side I have plenty of time to turkey hunt when season opens! RTF
Just clip the wings were they join the main body. You will see a type of ball joint socket. Then you must remove the meat from the wing bones along with the bone marrow.
Zambo
Just tie it around his neck so it lays across his back. When he flys the cape will flap in the breeze.
Flintlock1776
Just do it yourself if your were fortunate enough to get a turkey. At worst, you will have a nice tail fan to mount. If you get the cape don yourself that would be a bonus. Just go for it! Good luck
