fly
Alright guys, help me out.If I get a mature bird this season I'm going to get a full mount. I have been reviewing pictures on the web and can't make up my mind on the pose I want (there are so many). I really like the flying mounts, but a strutting Tom is hard to beat. There are also some nice half strutting birds out there. So post some pictures of what you like the best and maybe a short note explaining why. A couple I thought looked pretty good below:
Mach1
Gobbling on the roost is another idea. I'm personally not a huge fan of the full strut mounts. Don't know why.

NY_Bowhunter14
I like the full strut, if you get a flying bird, you gotta make sure you have the room to put it some place, they have a pretty big wing span...
The Kid
http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r224/aqt_footballfreak/mounts001.jpg i got him done like this so i could get him in a case so that he doesn't get dusty he also was strutting when i shot him so.. Arkansas Boy
I don't like the flying one you pictured. Full strut is beautiful
Zambo
Flying mounts can be awsome but as NY bowhunter14 said they do eat up wall space. Full struts are cool but the neatest mount I've seen is a roost mount with the turkey on a branch hanging on the wall. But the neat thing is when you get your Tom, you get to mount him how you like it.
toddyboman
I have 1 gobbling on a limb. I want a full strut. I also like this... I also like the dead turkey mount.... http://www.nwwings.com/gallery/galleryview.php?img=Rio-Grande-Turkey-Dead-Mount My next will be one of those 3.... One thing about a turkey they take up a lot of space But man do they look so GOOD!!
Dakota
I've been debating whether I want the full strut, flying or the dead turkey mount. This is giving me some good ideas! Dakota
boparks
I like a mix. Theres some posted just before me that look great. I do like a strutting bird for sure and I have a couple of flying birds (Osceola & Rio) mainly because I didn't know anyone at the time locally that I felt did great mounting a strutter. Sent the Merriam off to Calley Morris in Missouri.
HUNTINGMAN
I do have to say the gobble out of strut is by far my favorite.Something about haveing the outstreched neck and still showing his feathers and his colors, wow.
