Shaun_300
I've been wanting to get into reloading for a while now, and JimT happened to have one laying around that he didn't use anymore so I bought it off him. Got it all set up last week and just got all my powder, bullets etc today. Whipped up around 75 rounds. Man this thing is fun! I can't stay away from it. Here's my set up, with my two babies up on the bench too. 3 of my rounds I made up. L-R: .25-06 Remington - Hornady 75gr HP, .25-06 Remington - 115gr Nosler Ballistic Tip, .300 WSM - Nosler 168gr Ballistic Tip.

Strut10
Sweet deal!! It'll open up a whole new world of possibilities to you.......including going broke buying components. What's the availibility of powder and primers like in the Great White North?? Stuff of all descriptions has become VERY hard to impossible to find around here. Shaun_300
Yeah the ole bank account is already taking a pounding! Getting set up is the most expensive part it seems. Components seem pretty easy to find Don, there's a shooting store/range 15 minutes east of here that had all sorts of stuff! Wide selection of powders, bullets etc.
Adjam5
Shaun, Its great you got on board with reloading. A whole new world out there now. Press' and components have been scarce in the states.

doubleA
Good deal Shaun, now just take it slow and easy. Dont forget the basics and avoid shortcuts. As you are new to handloading I would suggest you do it when your mind is clear and you dont have any distractions present when doing so. ie friends, family, radio etc. I learned the hard way, always keep good records and dont rely on your memory. I have different spiral notebooks for each firearm to write down loads and notes, it works for me. You will find it very rewarding I am sure! Measure/weigh twice, pour once. I've been keeping logs in my "notes" section of my manual, every batch I do I write down the caliber, bullet weight, powder type and charge. Also keeping note of my powder measure tool reading to what how many grains of powder I use for each type of powder, and for the caliber I use the charge for etc. I'm having a lot of fun with it!! In two days I've loaded 140 rounds!
