PAbowhunter4life
Re: Tunning your bow???? Personally I owuld find a new rest or check all the screws and do dads on the one you have now. I honestly can't tell you the number of shots I have through my High Country, but I am willing to bet it's in the 4 digit range, and never once have I had to adjust the rest or resight anything. It still hits the same exact spots as the day I sighted her in.
archerjg
Re: Tunning your bow???? I have shot hundreds and hundreds of shots through the rest that I have and I have never had to readjust them. Make sure that everything is tight and not loosening up. If it cotinues I would take it to a pro shop and find a new rest to put on it. Just my opinion. Archerjg
magnatecsteve
Re: Tunning your bow???? Karateman is right. I wouldn't get frustrated trying to tune it till the string is good and broke in. Are there screws coming loose on the rest or is it just not shooting accurately? Have you checked for nock alaignment and vane clearance? Keep us posted, we'll try to help ya'
ScottyLuck
Re: Tunning your bow???? Yup if it's a new bow I would guarantee its' string creep. Before you think your accessories are off check your bow specs; axle to axle, brace height and cam timing. If those are still in spec then start looking at your accessories. Just about any new string will creep. Some more than others. If it's a factory string you'll rpobably need 400-500 shots through it before it settles in. GWSmith
Re: Tunning your bow???? Oh Sure you can tune a bow but can you tune a fish????LOL Honestly, I'm tweaking my bow on a regular basis when I'm shootng it so I really dont know how often it would take if I left it alone......Speaking of leaving it alone....(which is exactly what I've been doing lately)...I need to get outside and shoot more.
