Tink Posted April 1, 2009 Report Share Posted April 1, 2009 Jack Renaud Executive Director of the Boone & Crockett Club announced today that they had examined the Rompola Buck taken in Western Michigan as the New Number One Worlds Record typical Buck with a Score of 287 1/8 ( Typical) The buck was taken by Michigan DNR officers and a Michigan State trooper to the Radiology dept of the u of Michigan University Hospital where Dr Rav Patal, Head of Radiology performed the X ray and found the Buck complete Normal and free of irregulatities or Steel inserts etc. Then the Buck was shipped by DHL to Boone & Crockett HQs where it was inspected and offi cally measured by 5 Boone & Crockett Official measures ( OM) and One from the Pope & Young Club. On behalf of the Boone and Crockett Club we wish to apologize to Mr Rampola for all that he has been through. The buck will remain on Display until the 4 of July at B & C HQ in Montana. Rampola is also know to have a few deer over 180 inches from the same area..... If you do some serious research your mind's might change.... Arrested again for photographing a Judge's wife in the ladies room somewhere else... Mail & Postal fraud, cashign stolen Post money orders when he was a postman, cheating on welfare, more fraud... and the beat goes on... Mitch is perhaps the most disrespected hunter inthe world. He has several huge bucks in the Michigan Big Buck record book...But ha ha you made fun of a good buck and a great hunter....but I guess till Mitch gives a crap and has the deer checked no one will let him alone....According to other folks in the CBM he spends LOTS of time scouting in the woods not just with scouting cameras. A buddy of mine went to his hometown for his job a few years ago and heard rumors from local people that it had been poached and shot at night.Could be true, or it could also just be a few jealous people spreading rumors.
