Slick Tricks! thumb.gif

The Slick Trick have an all steel ferrule and the Muzzys have aluminum ferrules with screw on tips... night and day difference IMO... Especially if you smack a deer in the shoulder. The Slick Tricks steel ferrule is one piece without a screw on tip that can and will break. Again that makes a big difference concerning impact and penetration... Yes Muzzy`s are Great Heads so are Thunderheads,WASP Bullets,Etc.. but neither compare in strength.

I'll stick with the Muzzy 3-Blades...especially since I learned the value of using the G-5 ASD...now any fixed blade is shooting very close to the field points out of my bow.

I just cant seem to justify the cost of using Ashby Single Bevel Broadheads...I would if they sponsored me though:D

I have used the Muzzy 3 blade 100s for years with great results :) For the price, you can't beat them.

will go to Slick tricks when I've exhausted my supply of Muzzy. ;)

I LOVE my G5 Montecs (125gr)! Just wish they would make a 145gr version. The heavier the better. Here a pic of why I love em. Sorry for the bloody details, but it show authenticity. This is from my '08 buck. It was a quarter front shot. It grazed the shoulder, and went through rib bones on both side for a complete thru shot. All it needed was resharpened because it folded the edge on one side from grazing the shoulder. That's it! I'll probably never buy another broadhead.
