Buy any head you want...make sure the blades are sharp and spin test them on your arrows. If they spin true and the blades are sharp...they'll fly fine and pass through any whitetail.

Good luck.

BTW, I shoot the Rage 2 blades...if I were to go back to a fixed head...I'd go back to thunderheads!

This has probably narrowed your choices down quite a bit. I'm going to also add that the Muzzy MX3 and the Slick Tricks are also awesome heads. I would shoot any of these because they all flew like my field point. Including the G5 Strikers. If you want more cutting go with a slick strick, because they have 4 blades. If you want a little bit bigger cutting diameter go with a Muzzy MX3 for 1 1/4" cutting surface! If you want something that is super sharp and still a 1 1/8" cutting diamter go with a Striker or Montec.

If you paper tune your bow I almost gurantee the Strikers from G5 will fly exactly like your field points. Every one I set-up with them last year had that success, and thats including myself. ;)

Yea I haven't tried them, but for a fixed blade the G5 Strikers fly really well with almost no plaining. I've used Wasps and Muzzy's. Both are super durable, but I could never get them to fly exactly like my field tips. I could get them to be pretty consistent, but I think the Strikers will fly better.

I currently use 2 blade Rage heads. They fly exactly like my field points and they've got minimal drag. When shooting longer distances like 60 yards they won't drop off or dive like fixed blades with more aerodynamic drag.

Hope that helps,

Dan
