PotashRLS
Orientation starts this afternoon for our Turkey Learn To Hunt Program. We will be up at the Gun Club teaching the kids and novices about patterning shotguns, calling turkeys and turkey management. Our local Conservation Warden will talk to the kids as well as our local Wildlife Biologist. We will be teaming up the mentors with the hunters and talk game plans and strategies. Last night was our written test for the Hunter Safety Class and all they talked about was the turkey hunt. Everyone is very excited. The weather will be nice Saturday with a low in the 20s and a high of about 46. Sunday is SNOW:( with a high of 36 and blustery. "Blustery" is not a good word to associate with turkey hunting. But hey, time in the woods is good time. Thanks so much to all who donated to our hunt. Your generosity is humbling and I can't thank you enough. I will update everyone on our progress as I can. I can't forget Al (Dartonman) for getting the ball rolling on the donations. Thanks a lot Al. Edited April 3, 2009 by PotashRLS
