jesse8953
That is a fair price, but I found 1 on gunbroker for $
GWSmith
No offense to you personally Jesse, obviously I dont know you at all, but what you've done is wrong or at best distasteful. It's called: "Thread Crapping" Think about it as if this was your gun you were trying to sell and someone posted what you did. How would you like someone shooting down the price you want? snapper
I'm ok with that...I am an FFL and have a gun shop. I have my dealer catalog here in front of me and that gun (my cost) is $489.50. Thats minus any shipping fees and NICS background check and posibly tax. I got the gun at a good price (not gonna lie) and I will make a few (very few) bucks at $440. Its not hurting me to let it sit either, but I'm not gonna take a loss on it. Thanks for looking! jesse8953
Did not mean any harm and I appoligize, but if it was me trying to sell a gun I would like to know what some other people are charging so I would have a better chance of selling the gun or to put it on another site like gunsamerica.com where that is the best price. Sorry if I have affended anyone that was not my attention.

Sorry if I have affended anyone that was not my attention. Jesse, I hope you are not offended by my statements as well. What happened is just something that should be sent to the seller in a "private message or PM" instead of the open forum. To send a PM to anyone all you have to do is click on thier username. The second option gives you the "Private Message" just click on that and you can tell them anything in private. Meanwhile as we have been discussing protocol a few things have occurred: 1. We've drawn attention to a nice gun for sale at a fair price(seller's dont mind that usually). 2. We as well as others who did not already know found out that SNAPPER has a FFL and a gun shop. That will help his future sales from the increased confidence that what he sells he knows is in good shape. Also his reputation is on the line so he's not selling any junk here;) 3. We together may have informed other people about the use of "Private Messages" as a tool they can use while on the forums.

slughunter
That is a fair price, but I found 1 on gunbroker for $389 The way I see it, if your not interested in buying it dont even post a comment. -shane
markyj987
The way I see it, if your not interested in buying it dont even post a comment. -shane I'm not interested but will comment anyway (my wife says I never listen). What I will say though is that is a great shotgun and would rather buy it from snapper for a few dollars more than some random person on some random website. snapper would never screw over another hunter--and what he's asking is still a heck of a good price. If I was in the market, that gun would already be on its way to me.

And I will third that. btw, I happen to have a 2008 remington catalog and I wanted to make note here that the 870 supermag in mobu camo without the thumbhole stock has a msrp of $555. Sure the thumbhole would be just a little higher, but I did not see it listed on the price sheet for some reason. There is one on gunbroker right now exact same gun http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=126931014 as this one for $598. This is a good price that snapper is offering folks. Just for grins I pulled a search for 870 supermag's on gunsamerica, and there were a few but this one was the closest to this gun http://www.gunsamerica.com/971591465/Guns-For-Sale/Gun-Auctions/Shotguns/Remington-Shotguns/Pump/Hunting/REMINGTON_870_3_1_2_IN_SUPERMAG_EXPRESS_12G.htm. Not a thumbhole, but is a supermag and their price is $499.

Flintlock1776
Would that be able to take a slug barrel?
snapper
Thanks for interest...but gun has been moved to gunbroker! If your interested...you'll have to go through there to get it. I have to honor bids and the gun is listed to "relist" automatically if it doesn't sell...until it sells.
