They are taking innocent lives and are getting only a slap on the wrist... My question to these SOB's are.. Why not go down some back dirt road where if someone gets hurt it's only your stupid a**.. I'm not sure how many of you will take this but.... If my family gets injured because of a racer or habitual DUI offender..That SOB will see my face every day for the rest of his pitiful life...... And BTW, 2nd degree murder means that there was no intent to kill anybody but it happened. 1st degree murder there has to be intent and usually premeditation. It's sad because he should spend most of the rest of his life in prison but they will probably plead it down to manslaughter and he'll be out in 20. I truly hope not, he deserves to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Keep us updated man.... 92xj Posted April 8, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 8, 2009 well, hopefully this is will be last update to this story, as everything seems to be coming all together. The Driver of the car that left the scene that was originally thought to be a teenage girl was actaully a 44 year old woman with her teenage daughter and a daughter's friend in the car. When the woman left she took the friend home and that girl went to the police the following day with her story. The 44 year old lady has finally been caught and is going to have hefty charges placed against her. In the past 11 years she has 12 speeding tickets, yet still has a license. She also has all sorts of other violations but none were told in the news. So I guess in the end, the 20 year old boy who hit Mrs Furr and her daughter is getting out of the hospital tomorrow and will taking to jail with 3 counts of second degree murder, the 44 year old woman is in jail with charges and because of their actions of racing in front of my neighborhood, an absolutely amazing woman and her child have lost their lives as well as a 13 year old boy who was riding in the car with the 20 year old. The 11 year old boy who was riding in the same car has been released from the hospital and said to recover fine. Anyhow, if anything else is learned i will update, but I believe they have figured everything out about the incident. This story has brought a sad cloud over Charlotte NC and it is crazy that it is still the top story on the news as well as the front page of the paper for the 3 straight day. Anyhow, hope yall shall this story with a young driver or a driver that likes to race and risk the lives of others, and if the person you share it with doesnt seem to care, please tell them to contact me and speak with me or come see me.........God be with all......
