The_Kat
Shot the first round of the Indiana State Indoor Championship.........man I've never been so nervous in all my life! I finally settled in after 3 rounds but by that point I had dropped 3. Finished up 297-43X.....but I guess I have to be happy for my first big shoot. I have been shooting 300-45X + lately.....so it sucks dropping 3 arrows. Anyways I am in 12th right now, so I gotta shoot a 300 tomorrow to compete, or I'm out of the top 5 for sure. Guess we will see...........

MCH
Not bad for your first "pressure" shoot. Keep it up and you'll be giving Gillingham a run for his money.:D

The_Kat
Finished out 595-90Xs, rushed on a shot today and dropped one, then let my stupid attitude cost me the very next arrow. After that I had a heart to heart with my ego, and shot clean the rest of the game for a 298-47X. Thanks for yalls supports though, maybe next time! Tony
good job kyle. indoor target is a blast to shoot. now you understand how hard it is. keep working on your shooting form and mental game and it wont be long before your shooting relaxed at the big shoots. Predator
With the gun iron sights competition civil war replica msuket I find if I focus/concentrate on dead center of the target, and almost let go of the rest (perfect sight picture etc.) I find I hit dead center. You might try practice that way just to se what happens. Of course things you do before you shoot should be done on the line - consciously place you feet and angle your body where you want, etc. the same time every time.
