Nut Posted April 5, 2009 Report Share Posted April 5, 2009 I will go with the bad news first. Just got home from the ER. My youngest son Martin now has a fractured bone in his foot. After we got home from the track meet he decided to do a little weights after having a disagreement with his GF. Well he dropped a 20 pound dumbbell on his left foot. So off we went. He is in a half cast and in bed. He might end up having to get a pin to help the healing. Needless to say track is done and probably turkey season also for him. He did this right after we got the great news. The good news was his brother received a letter from a college accepting him as a student this fall. It's admission rate is 29% of the applicants. This college grants every student a 4 year scholarship worth over 100k. It also was the one Codie wanted the most even though he had a couple other scholarship offers to pick from. Here is the college http://www.berea.edu/ So we are having a high and low LOL btw Codie did get injured today also in the 4x100 relay. Pulled a muscle or something. Had made the finals for the 200 but had to jog it in order to get the points. He did get 4th in the 100 which was cool despite being seeded 8th.
