Ravin R10 man
Saw a bear out feeding in a corn field yesterday. This is highly unusual for Northern WI. in FEB!! Of course so was the 54 degree temps we were having!
WaCoyote
Re: Bear spotted Sat 2-5-05 I wondered if they'd be coming out early. It's been real warm here too!
fisherguy
Re: Bear spotted Sat 2-5-05 yup, it seems a few warm days will bering them out for a bit. Last year ice fishing it was -20 in Feb. and we saw one walking the lakeshore. I suspect something must have found its den and scared it out though. njbowhntr
Re: Bear spotted Sat 2-5-05 Like JimT said, your males will not totally den up in the winter. They will actually come out if you get a few warmer days in a row to feed.
