Here are a few of this years renters. Yesterday we work up to a couple inches of new snow. This ol girl is pretty easy to see with snow. There has been a hen trying to build her nest right next to the goose. Several folks have seen them up there together.

By the afternoon if was warm and sunny and most of the snow was gone. Most of the geese were taking advantage of the warmth to get off the nest and strech there legs. This goose has pulled a lot of straw out of the wire, definitely need to restuff this one next year.:p

The next for this goose is out of the picture but she didn't want anyone to know she was there. When I first saw her I thought she was a muskrat but turned out she was just a low rider.

These tundra swans have been hanging out for about a week. I guess they are just resting up before their final push north. Watching geese fly with these birds makes them look like little teal.

Out of the 7 goose nest I have put out I've seen geese in 6 of them. It's a relief to know that my work has paid off. Now to get some pictures when the gosslings are jumping out of the nest.

No I just have a camera that does all the thinking for me.:D

Well as I told you my nest went 7 for 7 this year and yeserday I saw little ones in one of the nests. They had all made it out of the nest by the time I got back today and there was a total of 7 new gosslings. 3 nests have hatched 4 to go and I expect the last four to hatch late this week or early next.

I'll have to try and get pictures Saturday. :)
