Guest bowhunter56
And said he would grant you "one" wish.... what would your wish be.??
JJL
After all he has already given me, I'm not sure there is anything I need. I have Eternal Life and Complete Forgiveness..........what else is there?.......Understanding???? I guess if I had to make a wish................... I'd ask if I could go back and live my life again knowing what I know now. That'd be pretty cool. When God is all you have, you have everything you need. Tominator
Have to agree with Jim, he's already given me salvation, what else is there. It's my human weakness in faith that fails me. In human terms--I'd wish that the scourge of cancer be lifted from the human race--at least the mental anguish that goes with it.
buckee
Man, that's a deep question, like Jim and Bart said. I'd want to wish for all my unsaved friends and their families to be saved, but I know it's not quite that simple. Taking away the scourge of Cancer would definitely be nice, but I'd have to ask him to make sure everyone knew who did it, so they wouldn't praise the wrong god. That's a tough question. Bachflock
I'm thankful to say I can take any request before Him as is! I wouldn't want the responsibility to have such a request presented to me like you proposed. Far to difficult for me to dicide.
htephil
...same request I ask for most of the time as it can be a real struggle....teach me to love others as Jesus does...the rest will take care of itself.
Missed160
The one thing I would ask for would be to end greed in people.. As I watch the news, it is appearant that god has given the world everything we need to live & enjoy our lives, but many people suffer because of the greed of others. JJL
As I laid in bed last night this question was on my mind and I came to this conclusion: God is not a "genie in a bottle".........He IS REAL. It is his desire that we have what we need and desire in accordance with his will. The prayers of a Righteous man are powerful and effective. Matthew 19:26 (New International Version) 26Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." START WISHING.................................. Hoosierbuck
All good points, but I have always wanted to go back and see what Eden was like before we wrecked that gravy train. See the world as God really intended it to be, and know that utter bliss. Of course, I suppose that's what Heaven is like. HB
