He shot 4 arrows, then 5 arrows and then 6 arrows all without missing. He only had 3 chances to do this in front of a live studio audience! If he would have missed the 4, he would have had to shoot again and that would have been 2 shots and he wouldn't have been able to make the 6 arrow shot. Either way they were all record shots because no one has every shot multiple arrows with one shot at a distance of 33 feet before. He was told don't worry if you don't do it this time, we will bring you back. They are all going crazy over there. They put a Guinness silver medal around Randy's neck and they played the song Hit Me with your Best Shot before he shot!! We are going to receive a copy after it airs in 2 weeks. I have a lot of people to call but I had to come here first!! Thanks for all of the well wishes! It is 9:45 pm in the UK right now and they just now called me because the show is still taping others! See Darla all your prayers went to the right place I feel the lord Jesus was a bowyer (bow maker) an archery and Hunter. Jesus was a carpenter if you wanted bow you went to a carpenter who made it for your size and strength The bowmaker had to test and shoot the bow making Jesus an Archer. When he went away on his long travels I am sure he used a bow to take birds and game and for protection. When I was a kid making arrows in my dads shop , He would let me experiment. I was always messin with feathers, (What we used to use before vanes) I would cut them and burn them different shapes and was always tryin to make the best arrows in the world!! (daydreamin) My dad would bring me back to reality .and tell me why my ideas would not work. He was an aeronautical engineer as well as an archer. Darn he was always right. Well dad. ( I know he is up there somewhere smilin about this) Randy just set a Guinness Record using the goofyest nocks ever made !!! I am so proud of my young friend Randy.
