redkneck
You guys and your mushrooms are making me want to eat some. I love mushrooms, but never ate a morrell. Maybe some day i'll get a little taste. Only thing down here to eat this time of year is poke salad, haha.
HCO Team
While I was walking my property today, knowing it was too ealy to find a mushroom, I still thought, "what if". I did however find my first TICK, in my hair!!!! Cant stop scratching.... Hey, even a small mushroom is a good find! Lisa
Turkeygirl
Nice! Barely a bite, lol. Where do you morel hunters tend to find them growing? I found 2 last year over at camp near some old apple treesand I think an ash tree....hope to find some more this year, they are soooo good! brownie65
dead elms are my fav trees. Ash trees are also good. Sycamores are good later in the season. Have also found them under maples & black locust. the elm trees are the best though.
