WIwhitetailhunter
I figured something was up. It's not like you to miss as much work as you have. Wierd how things just pop up like that. It wasn't that long before all this that I saw him at the waterpark in the Dells having a blast on the waterslides!! I hope things start to turn around for the little guy! If you need anything, let me know, buddy.

redkneck
Really hate to hear that, Randy. It's tough when you just have to sit back and watch, and you just wish you could take it all for them. Will keep you guys in our thoughts and prayers. On a lighter note, the same thing happened to a friend of mine 3 years ago and never happened again. Seizures really arent that uncommon in kids, but I know when it's your child in the ambulance you could really care less how common they are. Hang in there buddy, hopefully things get better real soon for you. john
Randy
Thank you all so much for the prayers and well wishes. Avery and I went fishing yesterday afternoon after his doctor appointment. We had a great time fishing bluegills and caught a ton of them. For a couple hours we were catching them on almost every cast. Too bad most of them were dinks! LOL Avery has been such a trooper through all of this and that makes me smile. I know that many kids have it so much worse and I can't imagine how their parents feel. It just sucks that any child should have to go through this. He takes his meds and wham! 30-45 minutes later he's ready for bed. He can't get up in the morning and after he does, a couple hours later, he's ready for a nap. I guess this is one of the things that bothers me most, he doesn't even want to fight with his little sister! :( I work in a prison as most of you know and I see these men walking around like zombies from their meds and now it's my little guy that is doing the same thing. I just want to wake up and realize this is just a dream... Edited April 12, 2009 by Randy

PotashRLS
Things will be okay, just remember that. Thoughts and prayers on this Easter Day. Kind of odd they pinned that diagnosis on him so quickly? Like someone said earlier, a seizure can happen to kids just because. Do you have a second opinion?
