I'm in shock and very saddened....I just got home from steelhead fishing today, with some great pics....to find a friend from camp had called. I called back to find out a wonderful girl who was a volunteer at camp aka did the dishes and helped out with other stuff and basically got a free 2 weeks at camp, well she was killed in a car accident yesterday:(:( She was only 15 I think...not sure how it happened but she came on my lessons at camp, night hikes, and what not....I'm just heartbroken and feel soo soo sorry for her family. Even her brother was a volunteer with her at camp and now she's gone!

Please pray for her family and friends, they will need it. She touched many people. I just think to myself Why God, she was so young and such a nice girl....it hurts

I'm crying my eyes out right now...I hope I can get my studying done for this test Monday:( I'll at least send a card to the family, I'll go to the funeral if school doesn't conflict.

Please say a prayer...her name's Emily.

It was mentionedo n the 11pm news last night....she was a passenger and another car t-boned them....the 2 drivers I think were injured but ok...The said the intersection where it happened and I think it know where it is, may be the one that my sister had her accdent in when some college boys ran the stop sign... Could have been either of the drivers but it was her....I can only tell myself God knows and has His reasons...

Sorry to hear of your loss. It isn't easy, I know. We are going through that here at my house as well. My daughters best friend was killed in an accident a couple weeks back. It still hasn't set in with Beck that Beth is gone.:(

Time heals all wounds! Even though Emily is gone you'll always have the memories the two of you had. Nothing can take that away.

Take care. You and Emily's family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Here's a link to the only article I've found so far: http://www.buffalonews.com/437/story/637489.html

Broke down when I read it. I passed through this same intersection on my way home about 2 hours prior to the accident. It's going to be rough driving through there....I'm trying to study for this exam tomorrow but the thoughts come and go like waves...it's tough....

I actually haven't had to deal with the death of someone I personally new before really....it's rough, very rough...and I only knew her from camp for 3 summers. The camp director (although she isn't returning this summer) is sending flowers on behalf of us as camp staff and we are going to do something at camp as a permanent memory...

Now if I could stop being teary eyed and thinking about her in order to study for this test.
