GWSmith
Went for a walk today with the Wife in a nearby State Forest and got to see 4 deer. We enjoyed that and when we got to where they crossed the road we took a few pic's. Interesting thing is I have a pic from about 3 years ago..Same Exact Place. I actually know of a couple trees near this trail that have very familiar looking teeth marks from a climber in them:D This Afternoon... ...and sign dont get any fresher than this(a total of 1-2 minutes old...we know we saw the deer cross LOL): ...And the Picture from a couple years ago:
Tom2008
Looks like a heavy trail to me. Usually if not to many changes take place in the area the deer habits won't change either.
GWSmith
And some people say Public Land is worthless:D I do plan on changing the "Quantity" of said ruminants in the fall in this area:cool:
Tom2008
And some people say Public Land is worthless:D I do plan on changing the "Quantity" of said ruminants in the fall in this area:cool: Yeah that isn't the truth at all. My uncles hunt a 160 acre parcel that no one else hunts on. Shot a 128" 9 point out of there last year. They shoot bucks every year though during rifle season.
