RangerClay
Gary, I went over the Tug today and there were places with close to a foot of snow still on the ground.
camoman1
All the white manure is gone here too with the exception of a few small piles. The ice is out on the lake, and the crappies should soon be in the fry pan!!!:D
GWSmith
Gary, I went over the Tug today and there were places with close to a foot of snow still on the ground. The Wife and I were talking aboot the Tug Hill area on the way home from the woods yesterday. We both said "They probably have a foot or more on the ground still up there". I know it's useless but I've really got no use for snow after the hunting season is over...it's like someone hits a switch. On the last day Snow is my Buddy...next day it's just an excercise in "How to walk like a Penguin so you dont end up with a broken hip"
Rhino
Played a couple of rounds of golf in shorts already this spring. Got up to 80 today. Supposed to cool down to the upper 40's tonight with highs in the upper 60's tomorrow and it's going to be one of those blue bird days to boot. Perfect weather to guide a rookie on a turkey hunt in the morning so that's where I'll be Gary. :D
Adjam5
Absolutely no snow anywhere downstate Gary...We have gotten a small cold spell back, but all the snow is gone! Don't miss it one bit...

aksheephuntress
....wow...-sometimes I close my eyes and just reminise about that beautiful drone of the lawn mower....hmmmmmmm... (our snow blower currently has a stripped screw on the clutch do-hickie......-time to get out there with the kids and shovel out!) -we don't bother shoveling the roof ever, though...-commercial -grade trusses... -we usually have snow in the drive until the first week of June.... GWSmith
Thanks Kathleen...I needed to keep things in perspective around here. I geuss it's all a matter of Cabin Fever... AKA "I'm not going out into the garage to play around with the toys and freeze my butt off just yet...by God it's not hunting season so there's no good reason"! Loved that pic of the arrows in the window....like if they had a nose to press against the glass because they wanted to got out and play;)
Illinois59
Clear skies and 88 degrees here (consistently)........ I'll trade ya!!! I'm right next door! But I would rather be in the cool weather.
Flintlock1776
Nope. I remember I was overseas in '69 and it was very warm but my folks back home got stuck in the NY Blizzard on Easter Sunday. Every Easter that memory of what I was doing vs. what people back in the world were doing always comes back to me.
