My dream finally came true!

Just last Wednesday on my way home from work I got a call from Cory, the archery guy from Heartland Outdoor, telling me that my bow is finally in! I ordered it the week after Christmas.

My boss gave me $1000 for a Christmas gift, so, instead of doing something intelligent with it, I ordered an '09 Bowtech Sentinel in camo, and 50-60Lb. draw. I also worked 2 days, and one night pushing snow with a neighbor's crew and made a little over $600 on that, so I decided to put some nice clothes on it. Here's the current setup

'09 Bowtech Sentinel

26" draw, 61.9Lbs.

Spot Hogg Hunter Hogg It sight with pin wrap

Trophy Taker drop away rest

GKF Tranquilizer 71/4" stabilizer

Leather wrist sling

Beman MFX Micro Diameter Team Realtree 400 arrows with blazers

Magnus Stinger 100 grain 4-blade heads

D-loop

1/4" TRU peep

T.R.U. Ball Loopmaster release

I haven't had time to get it out and tune it, but just playing with it, I know I'm gonna absolutely LOVE this rig. 3D, Turkey, Deer, anything. This bow fits like a glove, and is quieter than a mouse fart with no shock or jump.

If any of you guys can afford the Hunter Hogg It sight, buy it. It's just simply awesome, and has lifetime warranty.

Micro adjust:

gang windage

gang elevation

individual pins up/down

individual pins in/out (has alignment wire perpendicular to level to line up with)

2nd axis leveling

3rd axis leveling.

The fiber optic tubes are wrapped around the sight on the front covered by a clear shield, and a light mount with a black metal shield that projects dim to bright light right on the ends of the fibers without lighting up the entire sight and blinding you.

Now I have no excuse not to bowhunt this fall!

Thanks guys! Sometimes I really wonder if that was stupid to spend that money on a new bow, but it seems like the right things happened at just the right times, and I've been wanting a hunting bow for about 4 years since I sold my '02 Patriot.

I just thought of something the other day...I've spent almost exactly the same amount of money on that setup as I paid for my li'l truck. Yikes!

Well, the range results are in! It's awesome!!! Spent a couple hours this afternoon shooting and tuning/sighting in. Made about 1/64" adjustment left from recommended centershot, and 3/4 twist on my tie-in nocking point up from 90 degrees, and she was tuned.

Friends, I will never buy another sight for a hunting/3D bow. It is just simply awesome in every way! I picked up a Spott Hogg sight light for it today with 3 brightness settings, and shines directly on the fiber ends, while preventing peripheral light with a shield. Micro adjust on EVERY sight movement, as well as 2nd and 3rd axis leveling.

I got it sighted in at 20, 30, 40, 45, and 50 yards now.
