Tom2008
I know I got in on this a little late, but I love my new Whisker Biscuit. I started with a fuse one back in 2004. Switched to a Rip Cord and didn't think it was to great. Noisy and to many moving parts internally. I went to the simpler Trophy Taker Pronghorn and it was great. Then switched to a G5 Expert II drop away. Love that thing to death, but then tried a QAD. Nice, but wasn't working with the hoyt. Bought a new style WB because they are way nicer than the older models. I didn't even lose FPS and I shot it through a chrono to prove that. I bet you I can shoot just as well with a WB as anyone with a Dropaway. Now I'll just say one last statement. K.I.S.S. Keep it simple stupid. The_Kat
no way you can get the accuaracy out of a wb everytime that you can with a fall away.

92xj
on my WB you can tell where the fletchings are passing through it. What would be the cons if I cut out the "whiskers" where the fletching contacting them? so I would have three open slots in it.
The_Kat
anytime you have contact with the arrow to something on the bow it can alter it's flight. BTW I have shot the WB, and it tore my fletchings to shreds after 100 shots or so. Granted I shot more than the average hunter.....but I've never had that problem with my FA. Also just to clarify this is in good fun, if the WB works for you then great, I just wanna argue about it
Whitetail Freak Hunter
Had the same problems as The_Kat with the WB and Blazer vanes. Now which is it, Bigger Buck's or Healthier Deer?
GWSmith
Now which is it, Bigger Buck's or Healthier Deer? A "Healthier Deer" will end up being a "Bigger Buck" so it's a mute point....just hit the "Mute" button you'll see what I mean... Jen does that all the time with Kyle:eek::D:D

It passes through the same spot everytime though. I call that consistency brother. No shredded vanes with the new style whisker biscuit for me either. They did an awesome job with it for 2009. hutchies
QAD will hold it the arrow on at any angle. It's a full containment drop away. Personally I like Trophy Takers.................I have never had a single failure due to them breaking. Think about this..............If you have a vane on a couple arrows that isn't perfectly straight like all the other arrows and you are getting equal contact all the way around are those arrows gonna hit the same spot as the ones with the perfect fletchings. Believe me some of the cheaper fletching jigs have play in them and not all the fletchings come out perfect.

redkneck
I love my WB. I'm not going to argue about contact and "theoretical" crap, but the WB is simple and works EVERY time, plus they come in the mail along with samples of Tide. :D Shooting blazers and never have wrinkled one. Tom2008
Vanes never wrinkled or came off and still hitting tacks at 70+ yards. By the way not all my vanes are the exact same. A few are just a little out of position than the others, but they still fly the same.

I noticed how you did not specify that your hitting the tack in one particular spot though...probably all over that thing are'nt ya:D You should be embarrassed man...thats horrible accuracy...cant believe you would admit to that in public either...Have You No Shame!!! Arkansas Boy
Wont see it happen, or even attempted, from any sensible bowhunter either:p....so whats the point of full of having full containment???:D If your worried about the arrow falling...spend the whopping $1 for the stick on arrow holder that will keep everything where it's supposed to be until you shoot a Level Bow ...and I thought you already knew about the "Crazy" part such an awesome rest that he's selling it in the classifieds
