GWSmith
such an awesome rest that he's selling it in the classifieds So I can get another one for the different Bow manufacturers Bow I bought...and I'm not really trying all that hard to sell it. At the price I'm asking(a public service/charity) it's more so that someone suffering from the affliction known as BWS(Bisker Wiscuit Syndrome) can inject the Muzzy Zero Effect Rest on to thier sick Bow:p

hutchies
Annnnnnnnnnnnnntttttttttt.................Wrong. Kyle split limb is no better than a solid limb unless you dryfire your bow................
The_Kat
Mathews finally realized hoyt knew what they were doing and converted though. I love it!
bluelund79
I definitely have a mental deficiency or so my wife tells me daily-took off my wisker biscuit and put on a QAD drop away-if I really feel the need I can hit the thumb wheel and leave the rest up if I am that worried...And I am a rookie after not been into bowhunting in about 8-10 years...Glad to be back though...How about getting into the peeps-Stringless or leashed-I'll take the leashed variety until I get proficient enough to get the cordless variety and know how to tune the bow to keep it straight.... GWSmith
Tubeless Peeps are the best...the kind of tubeless I prefer is: (disclaimer-this is the only pic I could find of this style...I disagree with the method whoever used to secure it because it adds more string in the area you need as little as possible) With this style of peep it does nt matter if the string turns on you...you always get the same sight picture through it. People worried about the strand that may end up in front of your eye...Dont. You end up seeing right through it because it's so close to your eye, it's thin enough you see around it, and you simply cant focus on it. Peeps with Tubing...accident wiating to happen at the absolute worst time possible. Edited April 18, 2009 by GWSmith
Straight Shooter
All right, I'm behind just a bit on this arguement. 1. Kyle, if your getting wrinkled fletchings froma WB, then you don't know how to level/square a rest up. Or that Hardly On Your Target bow is out of tune. 2. Splits limbs only serve a purpuse of being able to see through your limbs at full draw on that deer as it is walking in for a shot. 3. Tubeless peeps ROCK! Tubes were made for tires-not bows.:D There now, I am caught up. Ha Ha Ha Ha ROSS, WB, and Tubeless rules
hutchies
Mathews finally realized hoyt knew what they were doing and converted though. I love it! I guess next you are gonna tell me mathews stole PSE's cams from the X force.......................News flash......Mathews holds the patents on those cams from the early 90's and there is a lawsuit pending. I think Mathews conquered the goal they intended. They made the best single cams ever made.............I guess that means you Hoyt, Bowtech, PSE fans better watch out. In a few years you maybe shooting a Mathews saying man I can't believe how much better of a 2 cam system they can a make. BTW---------Don't knock the monster til you shoot it. You have to remember that the monster is a speed bow and can only be compared to speed bows.

The_Kat
I would never own a bow named after a guy off of the tv sitcom friends
The_Kat
Have shot the monster several times. in fact I shot it in a 3d shoot in indiana. Way to top heavy....way to mathewsish. The AM is tons smoother, and much better to shoot in my opinion. Mathews needs to take some lessons
hutchies
And the Alphamax still isn't a speed bow............Your comparing apples to oranges. The X force, Monster, Omen, and a few of the Elites are in that 350 FPS range. It is top heavy but tell me why everyone puts stabilizers on their bow....................... The_Kat
PSE speed bow is much better.
hutchies
It's all in the eye of the bowholder....................... BTW--------How much money does Hoyt donate to NASP(National Archery Schools Program)? You do know why Mathews went with a split limb and floating yoke system don't you.................To get all the cam lean out. Ask jame why Hoyt uses split limbs and I be he will tell you the same reason. That's why Bowtechs have so many problems with cam lean. hutchies
BTW-------------Guys don't take this as Oh he's just another Mathews groupie.... You may see me shooting a Hoyt in a year when my buddy gets his shop up and going. Most all the bowmakers make great bows and I think I could find a bow in any of their lineup's to fit the bill for what I want to do with it. I'm a equal opportunity shooter........I get so tired of these arguements on forums where guys argue about who's bow is the best. I've seen guys shooting 15 year old bow that were smoking everyone. clrj3514
hutch, you're the man. way to lay it down. i dont much care what kinda bow it is as long as it's a killer

The_Kat
On another note.....NASP or whatever it is called is one awesome program. I had the honor of watching the state championship NASP shoot in Muncie, IN and lemme tell yall something......these kids were pumped. Not to mention the awesome barebow shooters that were there! I'd love to help with one of them locally here.

Flintlock1776
I use drop away. I'm smart enough I reckon that I don't need to idiot proof my bow:D
Straight Shooter
I use drop away. I'm smart enough I reckon that I don't need to idiot proof my bow:D Kepping it simple , because Murphy's Law will always win: If it moves it will break. If a whisker breaks, I've got about 999 left to continue shooting. You guys only got one cord and one drop away. Ha:D
Tom2008
Mathews finally realized hoyt knew what they were doing and converted though. I love it! Remember the Monster was based off of the X-Force not a Hoyt.
