Thanks guys, trust me I know I have plenty of room for improvement, just learning as I go and making use of the available resources at my fingertips via this PC.

Aren't there products on the market that can repair chewed antlers?

Doc, there are a few repair methods out there. I thought about it but seeing he didn't fall to me, decided to keep him as is. Here's a pretty easy link to follow for antler repairs. Some just use bondo, resin and paint.
