JJL
There's a whole bunch of advantages to living at 8000' above sea level. Big Elk................Big Deer................Wonderful Scenery..................NO FEAR of rising ocean levels...............No Hurricanes.................No Tornado's.................No Big Cities. But then again there a few shortcomings. Winter never knows when to give up. I played 18 holes of golf yesterday in short sleeves and short pants. It was 65 and sunny. Beautiful Day.................. Today we awoke to this.................................................... arrggghhhh.......................................not again..........................WHO SHOOK THE SNOW GLOBE ???????????? That's 12" of the fluffy white stuff with 24"-36" more to come. Today is the first day that the kids have missed school all year long. We've had about 200" so far this year.................I guess Mother Nature lost her calendar. It's supposed to be 70 by Tuesday and we'll be golfing again by next Friday. But, until then...........................LET"S GO SLEDDING KIDS.................

GWSmith
Probably should'nt have waited that proverbial 15minutes for the weather to change:D It makes for pretty pictures....but you dont have to shovel pictures just to go somewhere! Personally I've got no use for the white stuff after hunting season is over!

Your SMALL + is outweighed many times over by some BIG --------! Beautiful country but no thanks!

Flintlock1776
Oh, I thought this was a thread about Cloud Computing Snow? Wow. Today we finally got a good day almost 80 it has to be near or at a record. Got a Tom Turkey to boot. I was overseas in '69 when they got hit here by a major Nor'easter. I could have used some of that snow to cool off back then. Good luck with all that white stuff!
