Arkansas Boy
Well I saved up for the bow I really wanted (based on advice from some of you guys in the "Anyone shot the Bear Truth 2 Ultra Light" thread) and I had the high bid on ebay going into the last couple of minutes and got outbid by 1 freaking dollar. Needless to say, I'm a little down about it. It was the right draw length (wouldn't have to buy any modules) and had a peep sight and a drop away rest already on it for a great price. Arkansas Boy
this is the bow, i either want the PSE X-Force SS (supershort) or the X-Force TS (treestand)
layin on the smackdown
I have heard from several pro shop guys that the X force is a very difficult bow to shoot...I've never shot one, but i figured i would just give you some passed along advice. good luck! Arkansas Boy
i heard that the original x-force had lots of hand shock and was inconsistent. However one of the pro shop guys had the TS and loved it.

bluelund79
Have you shot the bow yet? It was on my short list as well as the bow madness....Didn;t care for the draw cycle and the hand shock-with or without a stabilizer-shoot it before you want/buy it....Good luck in your search! Tom2008
PSE Bow Madness........simply awesome! Yeah they are pretty sweet. Personally the 28" ATA model shoots quieter and smoother than the longer versions.

Arkansas Boy
The guy said he went to the pro shop and had a non twist zebra string put on the bow. Are these any good? Was the string that was stock better, worse, the same? I know nothing about strings as I have never replaced one. Did he do me a favor or rip me off? Arkansas Boy
no responses? well my uncle just told me that mathews uses these strings on all their bows except maybe the monster. I'm surprised with all these mathews guys that I didn't get any responses. I guess this is a pretty good string if a top of the line bow company is using them
BowJoe
I'd say get rid of the string. It creeps like a son of a b and they wear out quick. I've had two different Mathew's bows and had to replace strings on both of them within 2 years. I don't like them at all. I had custom strings to replace them and have no creep whatsoever. It only took 20 shots to tighten everything up on my bow and it was a tack driver after that. You can order them from anywhere and get a good price to boot. I paid $70 after taxes and got the colors I liked plus the 452X material.
