fly
This concept is new to me. I went to the NWTF site and figured out how it is done. Is there a record book like there is with deer? What's a great score vs. good score?
WHISKEYSWAMP
I'd say a good score for a turkey is around 60 and a great score would be 70+... my biggest (typical) bird scores 79.25..
Rhino
They're all great to me. The only times I've ever bothered with scoring turkeys has been for the RT turkey team contest. Any typical scoring 70+ would be exceptional. Any non-typical scoring 85+ would be exceptional too. The current state records here in MS are...typical - 80.57...non-typical - 151.16 (7 beards that totaled 57.25")
