clrj3514
Anybody use one of these? Do they work well?
jesse8953
Seen them on a few t.v. shows. Seems to help when hunting with kids. On sale at bass pro shop for $26.94 sale ends april 26. I thought about getting one if the work:rolleyes:
Flintlock1776
lets us know how it worked out. I have enough stuff, I look like isle #4 of Cabelas when I load up on all the do-dads I have. I think I am reaching my max carry capacity!
pointing_dogs_rule
If it's the one that I bought.... then I do not like it. It is a good idea for adults but even kids have a hard time steadying the MONO POD. I would suggest getting a BIPOD or some of those Quick-stix for better stability for kids. NOTE: if you want the one that I just bought I will give you a deal on it. JUST PM ME ON THIS SITE. good luck to all the dog

Rhino
That's not the one he's looking at dog. This is it. I don't use any sighting device like this when I'm turkey hunting but I have had youth hunters use one of my Stoney Point Bipods while they're turkey hunting with. The only question I would have about the V-Pod is if the lower Y sections can be adjusted separately. If they can't you may have a problem using it on uneven ground. Just a thought. jesse8953
I put one on my remington. I only used it one time.I think it does what it is made for.No, you can't adjust the botton v part only the height adjustment. You can use it as a mono pod if you want. Between the gobbler lounger and the v-pod I was able to set still in the ready position for a long time before I had to move my legs a little. You don't have to hold your gun at the shoulder if you use the strap they give you.I was very comfortable and had my gun in the ready spot, just no turkey to shoot! lol:D
